** Tiramisu is a coffee flavored cake w/ the traditional tiramisu
filling, and real cocoa sprinkled over the filling. There are no ladyfingers as this still needs
to be stable enough to use for wedding cake.
This flavor is $10 extra per tier as the filling is quite expensive to
make.

Tiered Cake Pricing
While there are several designs available for these prices, please
be aware that as you add more detailed and advanced work, these are more
time-consuming and therefore may add to the cost.
Buttercream icing ~ $ 3.50/serving
Rolled Fondant (made w/ white chocolate) icing ~ $
4.00/serving
Kitchen cakes ~ $2.00/serving
* Please note – I now have a minimum order of 150
servings.
*Kitchen
cakes are double layer cakes (which may also have filling!) that are
simply frosted, and are used for extra servings when a smaller wedding cake is
desired, but a large number of servings are needed. These are placed in the kitchen to be served
when needed, but look just like the wedding cake when cut! Minimum
order of 100 kitchen cake servings (plus 100 minimum wedding servings) required
to use this option
**Please note, as with many other decorators, I
will not provide a wedding cake when kitchen cakes are purchased
elsewhere. I do not mean to sound harsh,
but please realize that I have worked very hard building my reputation on great
tasting cakes, and I can’t have people thinking that a cake from a local grocery
store (for example) is something that I produced!

Consultations
There is no charge for a
consultation, and 1 free sample cake is provided.
(If you wish to
try more, additional cakes are available at a fee of $5 ea.)
Appointments are required, and only available in the evenings, or
occasionally on Sundays.
A little information about me, and the business…
My name is Diane
Simmons, and I was introduced to cake decorating as a child when visiting my
grandparents, and then came back to it as an adult when I signed up for local
cake decorating courses. I now have over
15 years experience in professional wedding cake decorating, and still love the
challenge and creative outlet it provides!
I have studied with
several world renowned cake decorators in advanced decorating techniques, and
now teach classes in many advanced decorating techniques around the
I have produced an
instructional video in specialty techniques, as well as having instructional
how-to articles published in American Cake Decorating magazine and the ICES
International publication. I have also
had the distinct honor of being a Featured Artist in Mailbox News, a national
cake decorating magazine.
Internationally, I have had cakes featured in British, Australian, and
Italian magazines.
In competitions, I have
been awarded several Gold medals, Best of Division Award, as well as special
top honor awards. I have competed in the
National Wedding Cake Competition (held annually in Tulsa, OK), and placed 2nd
Runner-Up in a field of 46 contestants the first time entering, and placed 9th
in a field of 72 contestants the second time entering. I was also invited to compete in a Food
Network live competition.
I am a proud member of
ICES (International Cake Exploration Societe), which
is an international organization of over 4000 members who all share the love of
Sugar Artistry. Through this membership,
I attend local and national conventions where I meet with other decorators and
share new ideas and techniques for sugar creations. Along with all American publications, I also
subscribe to several British and Australian cake decorating magazines to keep
myself exposed to any and all new decorating techniques and ideas!
I provide homemade
cakes baked fresh to order in my state-licensed kitchen. This is attached to my home, but rest
assured, I am inspected by the State of
