We Need
Location Scouts!!!
As many of you
are aware, the hotel industry has increased pricing dramatically over the past few
years for both the room rental as well as the food costs. Gary and his team of alternate reps are
trying desperately to keep the registration fees from being raised, so they are
asking for your help in looking for alternative locations to hold our DOS
events.
If you have any suggestions for a location for
future events, please contact the facility to find their capacity limitations,
handicap accessibility, and weekend pricing (for Sat & Sun – remember,
church Fellowship Halls won’t work as we need them Sunday morning.) Some ideas include township halls,
VFW/Eagles/Rotary Club, etc. type halls.
Just bear in mind we typically need a kitchen for catering, and hotel(s)
within a short (5-10 minute) drive.
